Newham Bookshop
An independent bookshop at the junction of Green Street and Barking, the shop has been operating for 43 years. It has hosted authors from all over the world. But it is especially keen to give a platform to local literary talent.
During the 2020-2021 lockdown, it raised between £7k - £8k for Newham based food banks and various other charities.
